Our memecoin tracker shows three numbers for $TRUMP and $MELANIA: price, 24-hour change, and market capitalisation. Each is easy to misread, so here is what they do and do not mean.
Price
The last price at which the token traded on the venues the data provider aggregates, at the timestamp shown. It is not a valuation and it is not what you would receive for a large holding — selling size moves the price against the seller.
24-hour change
The difference against the same moment yesterday. A single day tells you almost nothing about a memecoin, which can move double digits in either direction without any news at all.
Market capitalisation
Price multiplied by circulating supply. Two traps. First, “circulating” excludes locked tokens, so it does not describe the total that may eventually reach the market. Second, the figure is not money that exists anywhere — it is an arithmetic product, and no one could realise it by selling, because selling at that scale would move the price.

This is why we publish quoted figures with timestamps and never derive a total and present it as a sum somebody holds or received.
What the chart shows
Thirty daily closing points, drawn to scale between the period’s own high and low. The line’s steepness therefore depends on the range in that window, not on any absolute measure — a quiet month and a violent one can look similar.
What none of it is
It is not advice, a recommendation, or a prediction. We publish it because a token issued in the name of a sitting president is a matter of public record, and the record should be readable.
Data on the tracker is quoted from CoinGecko and refreshed on a schedule; every figure carries the time it was quoted.
